Information notice pursuant to Art. 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), this page describes the methods for processing personal data. This is an information notice that is provided pursuant to art. 13 GDPR. The information notice is not to be considered valid for other third party websites, possibly accessible through links on this website, for which no responsibility is assumed.

What are the personal data processed by Dell’orto S.p.A.?

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (C26, C27, C30 GDPR).

Browsing data: during their ordinary course of operation, the IT systems and software procedures required to run this website acquire certain personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, it could enable identification of the users through the processing and matching of data held by third parties. This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by the users who visit the site, as well as the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply from the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the IT environment of the user.

Data provided voluntarily by the user: the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses indicated on this website and / or the compilation of data collection forms entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data inserted.

With specific reference to the subscription to the newsletter, Dell’Orto Spa uses the Mailchimp provider, the platform for sending newsletters from The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in Georgia (USA).

The data transfer takes place according to adequacy in compliance with the provisions of art. 46 (2) point c). The Data Controller has checked the guarantees provided by the supplier regarding the transfer of data and the security measures applied.

How long are the data stored?

The website has hosting located within the EEA Countries. Therefore the data is not transferred to non-EEA territory.

The processing of personal data will be carried out in an automated and/or manual form, with methods and tools aimed to guarantee maximum security and confidentiality, by persons specifically trained for this.

In compliance with the provisions of art. 5 (1) point e) GDPR, the personal data collected will be stored in a form that allows the identification of the Data Subjects for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which the personal data are processed.

The data will be stored:

browsing on this website: up to the duration of the browsing session.

newsletter subscription: up to the user’s opt-out, withdrawal of consent.

Is the provision of data mandatory? Or is it necessary? Or is it optional?

The provision of browsing data is necessary for purposes a) as it is carried out automatically to allow you to browse the website. The provision of personal data for purposes b), subscription to the newsletter, is free and optional. Failure to provide it will make it impossible to receive the Dell’Orto Spa newsletter.

What are your rights?

You may exercise your rights pursuant to art. 15 et seq. GDPR, contacting the Data Controller at privacy@dellorto.it. You have the right, at any time, to request the Data Controller to access your personal data (art. 15), to amend (art. 16), to delete your data (art. 17) or limit their processing (art. 18). You have the right to withdraw the consent given at any time. To stop receiving automated direct marketing communications (e-mail) you may write an e-mail at any time to unsubscribe@dellorto.it with the subject “unsubscribe from automated” or use our automatic cancellation systems provided for e-mails (unsuscribe).

Furthermore, you have the right to object, at any time, to processing of your personal data pursuant to art. 6 (1), point (f) GDPR (Data Controller’s legitimate interest) and to the portability of your data.

In the event that you believe that the processing of personal data violate the provisions of GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority or to appeal the judge.

The Data Controller has the right to modify, update, add or remove parts of this privacy policy at its discretion and at any time. For those reasons the privacy policy will contain the update date.
